Company History
Marine Offshore Designers LTD first started operating in October 1985, being set up by personnel who had been closely involved in offshore projects while employed by other companies since 1982. The company was originally set up to compete in the area of jack-up rig moves specializing in close tolerance projects. In the rig move market the company has the ability to provide a package ranging from survey equipment and personnel to tugs, towmasters and mooring equipment.
To assist MOD in carrying out these projects we have developed and purchased equipment such as computer systems and software, scanning sonars, shortbaseline acoustic systems, electronic distance measuring equipment, lasers, gyros, RTK and differential GPS.
